Bellingham  Bay  One - Design  Regatta

Bellingham  Yacht  Club    September  14 - 15, 2002

The Regatta wil be governed by the I.S.A.F. Racing Rules of Sailing 2001-2004, including the US Sailing Prescriptions, the rules of the one-design classes entered, and the Sailing Instructions. All compettitors in Youth classes shall be no older than 22 years of age  and all Optimist competitors shall be no older than 15 years of age

during the 2002 calendar year. The Laser/Laser Radial class is open. 

The racing area is Bellingham Bay.

All  One - Design  fleets  are  Welcome.   Starts will be given and trophies awarded to classes with five or more entries.   This regatta is in conjunction with the Northwest Youth Racing Circuit for the year 2002.  This will be the US BYTE NATIONALS. There will be novice classes in the Byte and Optimist. Keelboats and other dinghies will race on separate courses.   Three courses will be established to accommodate the different classes.

 

Race  fee  per  boat ……$30US Single - Handed,     $45US  Double  Handed ,      $60US  Three  or   More

Includes :  Moorage for Friday and Saturday,  boat launch facilities, trophies for top 3 finishers in each class, LUNCHES FOR ALL RACERS, Awards Pizza Party
