NOTICE OF RACE SEPTEMBER 20 and 21 2003 BELLINGHAM YACHT CLUB The Regatta will be governed by the I.S.A.F. Racing Rules of Sailing 2001-2004, including the US Sailing Prescriptions, the rules of the one-design classes entered, and the Sailing Instructions. All competitors in Youth classes shall be no older than 22 years of age and all Optimist competitors shall be no older than 15 years of age during the 2003 calendar year. The Laser/Laser Radial class is open. The racing area is Bellingham Bay. Register either on line or send registration form and check to: BBOD Registration, Attn: Gus Farrar Racing Instructions All One - Design fleets are Welcome. Starts will be given and trophies awarded to classes with five or more entries. This regatta is in conjunction with the Northwest Youth Racing Circuit for the year 2003. The Regatta will also include the MEGABYTE NORTH AMERICANS. There will be novice classes in the Byte and Optimist. Keelboats and other dinghies will race on separate courses. Three courses will be established to accommodate the different classes. Race fee per boat $30 US Single - Handed, $45 US Double Handed $60 US Three or More. There will be a $5 discount on registrations on and before September 13th. Online registration is the preferable method. Race fees includes : Moorage for Friday and Saturday, boat launch facilities, trophies for top 3 finishers in each class, LUNCHES FOR ALL RACERS, Awards Pizza Party NOTICES PRIZES |
