“It is Tuesday night and the first five races are over. Tomorrow is a lay day, we are all going out on a tour to a kiwi farm among other things. The third race results were in controversy and protested. Anyhow, the committee boat was not on station when the Canadian and USA teams finished about one second apart. The end result was a tie, first place to both
teams. As of the end of five races, USA is in the number two position with New Zealand still in number one, naturally. Another great party tonight, two more races on Thursday and a final one on Friday. Will send a complete report on Friday for the Jib Sheet.
Regards to all,
Quinn

hi everyone,
just a quick note to pass on an email from one of BYC’s PacRim ambassadors, Quinn Selsor:
“On the long distance race today, BYC took another second. Canada was first,
the Kiwis third. Looking very good. Had 25 to 30 knot winds by the end of
the race this afternoon.
Regards, Quinn “
Hopefully we’ll get more updates from our friends participating in PacRim in the coming days…
