The selection committee is open for applications to be part of the team to Japan.

Selection Criteria:
The criteria for the ambassadors will be based on the level of participation the Bellingham Yacht Club and/or in the Sister Cities Organization. If you wish to apply, please detail all volunteer work and positions held in either/both organizations.

For those interested in racing; your letter of application should focus on two general items; depth of sailing experience and level of participation in the Bellingham Yacht Club. Detail past racing accomplishments and the level of success you have enjoyed. For example: share with the Selection Committee, your level of success in terms of series or long distance races locally as well as those held by other clubs. Also, describe your participation in the Bellingham Yacht Club; what volunteer work and/or positions you have you held? There are only five positions available, with a designated alternate position making for a total of six racers. The selection committee will continue to accept applications until August 31, 2007.
