For those of us who went to the Club Halloween party we all know that Craig Henderson was not only in good costume, but was also raising money for the Himalayan Cataract Project. The Himalayan Cataract Project’s top priority is to reach the greatest number of unserved blind people, with the highest quality care, at the lowest possible cost. HCP was founded in 1995. Since then it has become a leader in international health innovation in the developing world based on its unrivaled model in eye care.
Well just as with Sink the Dinghy, many of the members of the Club also gave Craig $20, which covers the cost of one sight-restoring cataract surgery. As a result, once again, of the caring of members in the Club, Craig was able to raise $500, and here is the letter that Craig received for the Bellingham Yacht Club:
Once again the Club has stepped forward. And say thank you to Craig next time you see him at the club for taking this on!
